Responsibilities include: managing YALSA’s publications portfolio, including books, a quarterly journal, and an e-newsletter; updating and maintaining YALSA’s Web site; overseeing media relations, including writing statements and press releases as well as coordinating interviews; and marketing YALSA’s services, including online courses, awards and grants, and membership.

Responsibilities include: Project-managing and copy editing several academic journals; typesetting several academic journals; updating content and designing pages on ALA’s Web site via in-house content management system; creating artwork and signage for several divisions, including book covers, posters, advertisements, and flyers; project managing and copy editing such special projects as ALA’s Guide to Best Reading and the Public Library Association’s biannual conference program book; managing files for printers and archives; and working with such freelance vendors as advertising sales staff, printer representatives, copy editors, and proofreaders.

Stephanie regularly works as a proofreader and editor for Rally Education, Glen Head, N.Y., and the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business Magazine. She edited Outstanding Library Public Relations: 60 Years of the John Cotton Dana Award by Amy Shaw and Peter Deekle (ALA, 2007).
